Rather than a series of aluminium plant louvres to crown the top of the stair tower, we have designed a perforated and recessed brick enclosure, which enables the plant to ventilate to the exterior. This enclosure is formed of hand-laid brick which provides light, shadow and interest to the highest level of the tower.
