Our contractor has made a mock-up brick wall at the site office in London, Kensington.

We have tested lime mortar samples to ensure that the colour complies with the one selected at planning.

Bricks have been laid in a monk bond pattern. This bond was traditionally used in monasteries until the 13^th and 14^th century, due to the limited use of headers and therefore lower cost to lay. It creates a series of vertical chains down the façade that we think are very beautiful.
