Jaslyn was invited by Equitone to attend an Architect focus group, along with a factory tour at their headquarters in Belgium, Mechelen. This was an incredible opportunity to meet Eurpoean architects , review materials supplied by Equitone and discuss overall subjects which involved: sustainability of buildings, Grenfell report, future of projects, and aesthetic vs longevity.

The factory tour was the highlight of the trip, as smaller groups were led around the site to see how each fibre cement panel was made and the stages it has to go through to be shipped internationally. We were very happy to hear from other architects and participate in discussions around future products.
