We entered the Project 2020 competition to contribute to the improvement of housing for people across the UK, and the feedback from the completed prototypes has been incredibly positive. People want and need better homes, filled with light, with high floor to ceiling heights, adaptable lofts, plenty of storage, the ability to provide open-plan living and a sense of generosity and space.

The project has many goals, the most significant of which is the sustainability of housing. This is not only about energy efficiency, but also about creating flexible and adaptable housing that will have longevity, and will create and support communities. All the houses have flexible internal planning, high levels of daylight and most importantly a sense of joy and belonging.
