We are happy to announce we have now finished RIBA Stage 4 for St. Mary Magdalene. For this school retrofit project, we have created a thermally efficient envelope from an existing 1960s school building which was cold in the winter and overheated in warmer months. Externally, we have updated the existing envelope, adding fibre cement panels to protect the build ups and lengthen the building lifetime. The pattern of the facade is reminiscent of falling leaves in the garden.
