Lida O’Shea

Lida is a RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from University College Dublin and a Masters with Distinction from the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art. Her architectural experience is primarily within the residential sector in Ireland and the UK. She values responsible building design, working with the existing urban context, and advocates for the highest quality in architectural work.

Following the completion of her studies, and prior to joining Openstudio, she worked on a competition for a large-scale masterplan, reinforcing her thorough research skills and ability to work across a variety of scales simultaneously. She is interested in sustainable and innovative solutions in design as well as restoration and re-use of historic buildings. Her skills in Building Information Modelling contribute to the ease and efficiency with which Openstudio approaches projects.
